DGT WHEELS & TYRES CUSTOMER POLICIES
Service based policies.
Please note that all service based policies are only applicable if appointments for either wheel balancing or wheel alignment were booked via www.dgtwheels.com/booking.
If you are unhappy with the wheel balancing you have received from our technicians you are entitled to a free 7 day re-balance or re-check, If you feel that your wheels were not balanced or balanced incorrectly then you can contact us directly and apply for a re-balance or re-check. We cannot issue refunds on wheel balancing due to uncontrollable circumstances that may occur outside of our business address. This policy is only in effect to customers who have booked in via our online booking system and does not apply to walk-in customers.
Hunter wheel Alignment
If you are unhappy with the wheel alignment session you have received from our technicians you are entitled to a free re-alignment session subject to the following terms:
1. Your car has not increased in mileage by 50 miles.
2. You have not purposefully done anything to place the wheels out of alignment, i.e extreme driving or crashed your vehicle.
This policy is only in effect and subject to customers who have booked in via our online booking system and does not apply to any walk-in customers or organisations.
Purchase based policies.
Returns Policy: In-store purchases.
Due to the nature of our products, Once a wheel has been fitted to a car, the value of the wheel decreases. Therefore in order to serve the needs of our customers, we have implemented a partial refund system.
Our returns policy for in-store purchases is valid for 7 days however subject to the following terms:
1. Once wheels have been fitted to a vehicle and a car has travelled more than 0.5 miles, we cannot issue a full refund however we can issue a partial refund which is subject to individual circumstances and the nature of the return.
2. We cannot accept responsibility for the actions of the customer once they have left our showroom premise, once correct documentation is signed DGT Wheels & Tyres cannot not take responsibility for any damaged goods as the onus is on the customer to identify these issues highlighted before leaving the premise.
Returns Policy: Online purchases.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, you can (upon getting a returns number) send the wheels back to us unopened and in the original boxes and packaging supplied. (This does not apply to wheel(s) or wheel(s) and tyres that have already been mounted as they are deemed non-returnable. The returns policy is valid for 14 days.
Warranty on products
Please note that the warranties listed here are of paint based warranties, not relating to structural issues. Due to the nature of our product in order to help our customers feel that they are getting the most value we are offering specific warranties depending on which type of product you have purchased.
Class A Warranty: Two months Chrome & Polish
Customers are expected to drive responsible and take into considerations when they are dealing with the cleaning of their alloy wheels.
This warranty covers all wheels that fall under the category of:
1. Diamond cut (Polished finish)
2 Chrome finishing
Customers that have purchased any products that fall under the class A category are entitled to a full refurbishment of their alloy wheels subject to the time period of two months. As a customer you are entitled to a period of two months warranty if your alloy wheels begin to show any issues of defect. It is the customers responsibility to inform DGT that there a defect has arisen on their alloy wheels within the correct time frame in order for the warranty to be in effect.
Class B Warranty: 1 year silver finishing
This warranty covers all straight silver wheels, allowing for any defects within the 1 year time period.
Any straight silver alloy wheel purchase that shows issues of defect will be entitled to a free refurbishment in order to solve the issue.
As a customer you are entitled to a period of a 1 year silver finishing warranty if your wheels begin to show any issues of defect during that time period. It is the customers responsibility to inform us that there is a defect in the finishing that has arisen so that DGT can take responsibility and resolve the issue. in order for this warranty to be in effect the wheel purchased must not have any other colour or specific finishing such as polish or chrome edges.
CUSTOMER NOTICE: ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY 'CURBING' AFTER WHEELS HAVE BEEN FITTED ONTO THE CAR AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIES CUSTOMERS ENTITLEMENT TO WARRANTY ON OUR PRODUCTS. IF ANY DEFECTS ARE DETECTED AS A RESULT OF CURBING THIS WILL AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFY YOUR ENTITLEMENT TO WARRANTY OF ANY OF OUR ALLOY WHEEL PRODUCTS. IF DEFECTS ARE NOT A RESULT OF CURBING DAMAGE THEN YOU ARE ENTITLED TO WARRANTY.
